Occupational therapy (OT) helps children develop the foundational skills needed for everyday tasks, from getting dressed and holding a pencil to focusing in class or managing big emotions. At Thera+Kids, OT is more than just building skills; it’s about helping your child gain confidence, independence, and a sense of accomplishment.

Our Occupational Therapists Support Children Who:
- Struggle with fine motor skills (e.g., handwriting, using scissors, buttoning clothes, etc.)
- Have difficulty with gross motor coordination (e.g., climbing, balancing, catching a ball, etc.)
- Experience sensory sensitivities or sensory-seeking behaviors
- Have trouble self-regulating (e.g., managing frustration, staying calm, following routine, etc.)
- Avoid or resist self-care tasks like brushing teeth, washing hands, or tying shoes
- Struggle to focus, sit still, or transition between activities
- Have trouble planning, organizing, or completing tasks
- Are easily overwhelmed in busy, noisy environments
