Please book a Toddler/ Child Assessment if your child is 12+ months

Assessment: The process begins with a parent intake form, where you’ll share your concerns and provide important medical and developmental history. This helps us understand the big picture before we even meet. The assessment itself can take place in person or virtually and includes:
Caregiver conversation
Play-based observation
Mealtime assessment (either live or using videos you bring from home)
Collaborative goal setting
Discussion of practical strategies you can start using right away!
Recommendation for next steps (therapy plan tailored to your child’s needs and goals)
Handouts to take home! Your therapist will email you relevant information for home practice shortly after the initial assessment.

Feeding Therapy focuses on:
Oral‑motor skills – how the tongue, lips, cheeks, and jaw coordinate to bite, chew, and swallow.
Swallow safety – protecting the airway so nothing “goes down the wrong pipe”.
Sensory experience – tolerating the look, smell, texture, and taste of foods.
Positive mealtime dynamics – reducing stress for children and parents.
